Ford Escape Windshield Washer Pump Not Working

In my 2012 escape my front windshield washer stopped working this morning on my way to work.

Locate the pump by the reservoir or the wiper motor. The wipers and washer won t operate but it will activate the washer s fuse. I dont think its clogged because it was working for the first 10 minutes while i was driving. The problem may lie in the pump that sends the power to the washer so you may need to check its ability to operate.

Can hear what sounds like the pump churning away. Loosen the inner fender well panel disconnect the pump and check for power in the connector when the washer button pi pressed. See if the pump is getting power by using a test light. If the wipers work but the pump doesn t ether the pump is bad or the connection on the pump is corroded.

I looked at the fuse diagram but cant seem to see one labelled for the washer pump. Turn the key in the ignition so the battery starts and the engine stays off.
